Elios liked the tea I brought him. ....I think Peromei would like anything vegetarian. [She is semi-horse like. Maybe she'd enjoy some flowers to munch on or something like that. Komaeda washes his hands before he adds.]

Anyway. I'm ready to begin. ...I think I'll be able to explain rituals after this.

[As he moves to obey Lloyd's instructions, he reflects on the teachings of his master. They're similiar.]

My master said something similiar. Is Kratos your teacher too?

[He keeps wooden bowls in his house. If he had an episode or his luck swung its claws the clean up would just be the fallen contents.]

[This is that thin ice sort of part of friendship that saying the wrong thing could lead Komaeda into an cold bath. He sets the bowl on the counter with a gentle tap.]

...ah, I don't much about fathers. I can only tell you what little I know based on my experiences with teachers.

[That should be good enough? Shouldn't it? He really doesn't know how to speak about family.]

Any teacher is a guide of sorts, they point out a path we could follow if we choose to. Or we could alter it to suit us. Aries Mu, showed me a path I'm not fit enough in body to follow just yet.

If I do or not, I'm still deciding on that.

Not without temporarily healing myself. [He says as he finishes carrying out Lloyd's instrunctions.] But the methods he uses...the way his power is shaped.

I can do it once I'm healed but, I'll need to train up to it. It surpasses normal human limits. ...tell me, what do you know of gods? [He studies the bowl on his table and is grateful he dodges the family talk. Nothing he wants to say about that.]

They're often used by ancient cultures to explain things they don't understand. Why was the sea parted? A god did it. Why did the sea destroy that town?

[Komaeda sets the pan on the burner and follows Lloyd's guidance. As he's mixing the eggs, milk, and spices together he says in a calm voice,]

That's not so in his world. The gods are real, and long ago they went to war with each other in a time called the Age of Myth. One god defended humanity, who used to be but a whisper apart from being like gods themselves.

The goddess my master serves, is one and the same. The Greek Goddess, Athena. Known to most realms that hold her as the goddess of war and wisdom.

[He pauses to check the pan as he adds.] Considering what he's capable of, and I would know I fought against him during the possessions...I shudder to think of what his gods can do.

I agree. No one has the right to our futures. [He knows when oil starts to thin the heat is approaching the smoke point. But that's about all he knows.]

...I assume the pan is almost ready.

Anyway, to explain - his power can split the sky or ground. With his fist. I was very lucky that even possessed he didn't outright attack. [Komaeda pauses to stare at the pan again as he adds a touch amused.] Both far too powerful people I've had to tangle with had no desire to fight unless attacked first, actually.

With the exception of when Hinata was possessed.

Tell me about them? [He asks, as he follows Lloyd's directions. The egg mixture slowly fills the pan, spreading out. Komaeda tips the pan slightly over the heat, filling in the holes.]
